Change for the good

The Trustees of the Minnesota Laborers Health and Welfare Fund (referred to as “the Fund”) have decided to change prescription drug providers effective January 1, 2018.

Effective January 1, 2018, please discard your old insurance card(s) (these are orange) and begin using your new insurance card(s) (these are white with black and orange stripes).

Your health, dental, employee assistance program and current benefit structure will remain the same.

Please watch your mail for additional details and steps you need to take to help with the transition.

January 1, 2018, stop using your old card. All plan participants and dependents will receive new cards.

What’s new? BeneCard:
• Prescription drug information and provider
• New I.D. numbers

What’s the same?:
• BlueCross BlueShield
• Delta Dental
• Sandcreek employeeassistance program (EAP)

To ensure a smooth transition and no disruption in health, dental or pharmacy services, please ensure all family members use the new card(s) effective 1/1/18.
